Message from the Founder

Nearly a decade ago, I started xByte Technologies to provide high quality IT equipment with first-class customer service. As a former IT Director, I found "service" was the thing truly missing in the sales world. I wanted to treat customers how I expected to be treated. Humans should answer the phone, not a computer or voicemail. Knowledgeable responses in 15 minutes, not hours or days. An RMA process that is simple, easy, and fair to the customer. We have grown over the years, but our commitment to that high level of service has remained. Many of the early customers are still with us today. A Little xByte History

xByte Technologies started over a decade ago in a living room in Gainesville, Florida. It has grown from a living room and one full-time employee to a 30,000 sq. ft. warehouse and around 50 full-time employees. See xByte's journey!

    Tom purchases first building to house the growing xByte business and hires three part time employees.

    xByte moves to Sarasota, FL, and 3 fulltime employees are hired.

  • Stephen Jaynes


    Founder, Tom Santilli, brings on another partner, Stephen Jaynes.

    xByte moves into a 30,000 sq. ft. climate controlled facility/warehouse.

  • 2014

    Named 2014 Company to Watch by GrowFL.

  • 2015

    VP of Sales and Marketing, Ryan Brown, steps up as CEO, and the xByte board is created. The board includes Founder and Chairman, Tom Santilli, and Partner and Vice-Chairman, Stephen Jaynes.

All our servers and parts are stored in our climate controlled 30,000 sq. ft. warehouse, located in always sunny Bradenton, FL. We keep thousands of servers and nearly 100,000 parts IN STOCK, all ready for immediate shipment. Call us by 3pm Eastern and we can get your order to you as quickly as the next business day. If we do not have something in stock that you need, we typically can still find it for you quickly.
